I believe the practice quiz answer here is incorrect. The question asks:

An architect is designing a privately funded multifamily residential building in California. According to Chapter 11A of the California Building Code, what is the minimum required width for an interior accessible route within a dwelling unit?

The correct answer shown was 44". I believe this should be 36". A possibility would be the common corridor outside the unit to be 44" serving an occupant load of 10 or more. If 9 or fewer is would be 36".

Hi @relempago, welcome back, and thanks for flagging this! Chris Hopstock, our architect, is looking into question 7000119, and we’ll make any necessary edits.

Quick note: I removed the screenshot from your post, since our community doesn’t allow images of member-only content.

Good luck with the CSE!
