# Contingency

What phase should contingency be highest? SD, DD, CD, or CA?

Hello @ssimenhoff02 -

I think that the percentage breakdown is dependent on the type of project, the owner, and the firm. However CD tends to take the most time, so I would suggest that you give priority to that project phase.
