An architect is preparing an agreement with a new client for a proposed healthcare facility. According to AIA Owner-Architect agreements, which of the following are owner’s responsibilities? \*\*Check the four that apply.

1. Furnishing civil surveys

Correct. The owner is responsible for furnishing surveys to describe legal and physical characteristics of the project site.

1. Providing and updating the project budget

Correct. The owner is responsible for establishing and updating the budget for the project throughout its duration until final completion. This includes: cost of qork, owner’s other costs, and reasonable contingencies related to cost.
