Hi ARE community!

As discussed in yesterday’s workshop, I said I would follow up with a more in-depth explanation of bottom-up vs top-down fee structure.

A bottom-up fee is generally started with a known scope provided by the owner while a top-down fee is generally started with an acceptable fee in order to determine the scope.

The link below is a great resource that provides even further explanation (scroll down a bit): [Calculating an Architectural Fee for Services - Archtoolbox](https://www.archtoolbox.com/calculate-architectural-fee/)

Please let me know if there are any further questions on this!
