In the base scenario, the question indicates that the facility has no memory care. Could you make the language more IBC-based and refer to the evacuation capabilities of the people living there? I am familiar with the term (no memory care). However, code suggest by definition that I-1 Condition 1, would not require assistance. Hence, no memory care. While I-1 Condition 2 is the type that would require assistance, or memory care. The correct answer should be I-1, Condition 1; sprinklers required.
