got it, thanks
Other than Black Spectacles content, what materials do you recommend for studying structural load calculations?
Good question! Iâll bring this up to Chris right after Question #5!
Hello everyone!
I would like to know a quick rule to remember the difference between stack vent and vent stack. I canât seem to remember which one is what.
can we go back to the roof loading question? Why C and not the other 70sf area to the left?
that was for plumbing questions⌠thanks
Thank you, from LA
a vent stack is a vertical pipe that carries waste and also acts as a vent to allow for the escape of sewer gases and odors. A stack vent, on the other hand, is the extension of a waste/soil stack that is also used for venting, typically extending through the roof to discharge gases to the outside_ from google
thanks
Hello from Houston
Is there any reason we would place different vents for these fixtures, or they all can be in one vent through the roof as a common practice?
Easiest way for me to remember is by the LAST word. When i see stack VENT I know it is the main line venting to the roof, and the one named Vent Stack is the stack of pipes
you can tell from multiple questions that I just donât like plumbing and vents
thanks.
Thank you for your time, this is very useful and valuable practice.
thank you,
