Yes, you can definitely join! However, you’ll need an active Black Spectacles membership to complete the challenge through May 30th. If your current membership expires on May 13th, you would need to renew it to stay enrolled and finish the challenge.
Let me know if you have any questions happy to help!
Please confirm email address for Keristen Edwards, as it may have a typo. It has balckspectacles after .com, where I believe it should be blackcspectacles.
That’s such a great question and I want you to know, I’ve been there too. Failing an exam can really shake your confidence, but it doesn’t mean you’re not capable. It’s simply part of the process for so many of us. When I failed one of my exams, I remember feeling stuck, but what helped me get back on track was taking a moment to reflect and looking at my score report to see where I struggled, then using that insight to shift how I studied.
One of the biggest game-changers for me was staying connected to others who were going through the same thing. I lead a study group at my job and in my NOMA Chapter! Being part of a community held me accountable and gave me the motivation to keep going, even on the hard days. That connection made all the difference. I also learned not to take too long of a break because you blink, and suddenly a year’s gone by and you haven’t made any progress toward your goal. So give yourself some space to regroup, but then get right back into it with a fresh approach.
Also, don’t forget you can schedule a fail consultation with a licensed architect at BKS. It’s a great way to talk through your experience, get personalized advice, and map out your next steps with confidence.
For anyone else reading this, have you been through this too?
Feel free to jump in and share what helped you get back on track after a setback. Your advice could make all the difference for someone else here!
Anyway Brandon we’re in this together and you’ve got this!
Good morning from Los Angeles! We’ll be starting the live Q&A session in about 5 minutes, feel free to drop any questions in this thread and we’ll answer them live with our team of licensed architects!
I have a vacation planned on the 30th of May over a long weekend, do you recommend taking it before I leave or after? I like to take exams on Saturdays/Fridays
I apologize if this has already been mentioned, but will you be emailing the study plan? If so, could you please let us know when to expect it? Thank you!
