I’m a little confused on a question and wondering if there’s a typo?

We’re asked, “Which of the following statements are accurate regarding the existing plumbing fixtures?”

A correct answer is “No additional drinking fountains are needed,” however in the question before we see 2 fountains are required, and I only see one fountain in the scenario. It’s possible I missed a piece of information. Also, the explanation to that answer refers to lavatories, not drinking fountains.

Just looking for some clarification, thank you!

While these two questions are related, they are asking about two different things: Question 7 is asking about the total number of required plumbing fixtures (existing + new), while Question 8 is asking about the number of additional plumbing fixtures required (new only). We had actually updated Question 7 (see member comment above from 3/11/26) to accurately reflect IPC 2021, which requires 2 shared drinking fountains. We mistakenly did not update Question 8 as…
