Advice for retaking PJM exam I failed

Hello. 2 weeks ago I took the PJM exam and got a 491 (failed). It told me I scored:
Content Area 1: Resource Management 42%

Content Area 2: Project Work Planning 64%

Content Area 3: Contracts 68%

Content Area 4: Project Execution 46%

Content Area 5: Project Quality Control 53%

What should I focus on? Sections 1,2, and 5? Just watch the videos? I only did the videos, flashcards, and practice exams for pcm and passed first try and tried the same for PJM and failed. Based on my score what should I do? Am I really close? Or not SUPER close?

Welcome to the Black Spectacles Community @dgonz482! We are happy to have you here.

First off - I’m so sorry to hear about your PjM exam. I understand how disappointing it can be, but rest assured that you are not alone and we are happy to help you overcome this obstacle!

First, please report your PjM result on your Black Spectacles dashboard. Within a few days, you’ll receive an automated email inviting you to complete a Pre-Consultation Survey. Once you complete this survey, you’ll receive another automated email with scheduling links - you can then select one 30-minute time slot to meet with one of our licensed architect consultants. During the ARE Consultation, the consultant will review your score report with you and answer these questions you are asking - essentially helping you develop a game plan for your retake!

If you encounter any issues during this process, please reach out to me directly at kiaragalicinao@blackspectacles.com and I’ll further assist you.

Every exam is a different beast, so don’t be too hard on yourself. You passed PcM (congrats!) so you know what it takes to pass an exam. You were definitely close to passing (missing by just a handful of questions) so you may just need some further refinement of your PjM studies, or you could have simply gotten unlucky with a difficult exam form that day.

Best of luck and we look forward to meeting with you soon!
