I am currently studying for my first test, specifically Project Management. I’ve been watching the webinars live continuously since last year, it’s really been so helpful and encouraging me to actually go take the tests! Thank you!
Thanks for tuning in! We are happy to hear they’ve been a help to you.
Good luck on your Project Management Exam and feel free to post any questions you might have!
Hi again! I did a 1 month BlackSpectacles membership last fall. I’ve had (2) exams left since 2018…cannot seem to pass PPD or PDD so I am considering your Expert Membership. I took a 6mo break. Just re-signed up for both exams, PPD in Sept and PDD in Dec. and wondering if I should reschedule? Is this is too long? I really need a guide to plan daily/weekly study.
I failed an exam and hit the wall - scared to fail again. Did you restudy the same material after you failed an exam or did you search out new study material?
Only two left and I’m done so I know I need to get over the fear!
If you feel comfortable testing in December and that’s what you already have plans for I would stick with it!
If you feel like you just don’t have the motivation you need and aren’t making progress, then I would suggest moving them forward to put more pressure on yourself. I would also push up your testing date if you are the kind of person who gets really anxious before exams. Testing can be kind of like a band-aid in that it’s better just to get it over with. If the wait is going to cause you a lot of stress it might be best to jump right in and take them sooner rather than to let that anxiety build up over the next 6 months.
I know back in the day, our highest level subscription included a study guide broken down day by day. @monicafitzpatrick can you please clarify if this is still the case?
I’m a little biased since I am one of the PjM Workshop instructors, but we have had a lot of great feedback on the program and have heard people have found them very helpful! If you’re the kind of person who learns by talking through things and actively working through problems as a group I think the workshops might benefit you.
