Good morning from Los Angeles!
If you have any questions click Reply and I’ll bring them up to Chris during today’s session - thanks!
Question #1: in reviewing closed-cell spray foam as an option, the R-value for spray-foam was used. Is it likely that we would need to know R or U values for various materials, or was that given more for explanation? Cheers
How did you calculate the thickness of the insulation in the cavity?
Do we need to account the thickness of the ceiling?
I’ll bring this up to chris next, thanks!
question #3: can we get more clarification on “clear floor space” and why we are using that, as it could lead one to believe this refers to say an clearance for ADA or an electrical panel and therefore is actually irrelevant to the question, when in reality it apparently isn’t; vs using the floor to floor height which is most important for this question.
thank you for the clarification…the wording choice is what was confusing
Thank you so much, Chris!
