When agreeing to Detailed Cost Estimating as a Supplemental Service, the owner and architect need to define the milestones when the Detailed Cost Estimate should be provided within the terms of the Supplemental Service. This will be a project specific decision. For example, it’s possible they will establish that the only Detailed Cost Estimate required will be at the end of Construction Documents.
All other estimates per B101 will be required as Basic Service.
