There is a question in the quiz under Objective 2.3: Determine Construction Progress regarding deflection of exterior metal panels. The answer references Building Construction Illustrated, Chapter 8. However, Chapter 8 in that book covers windows and doors, not deflection.
Could you please clarify the correct chapter or book where we can find information on deflection, particularly as it relates to exterior metal panels?

In the meantime, I did find 7.31 Metal Cladding in Building Construction Illustrated, which covers metal panels. It does not cover deflection, but great for just an overview of the material itself as an exterior wall component.

@elie, we’ve changed this reference to Simplified Engineering for Architects and Builders, 12th Edition, Chapter 9.7. Note that this is about deflection in general and it applies to any materials, not metal panels specifically, but the concept is the same.
