Medium size building system selection

in the book The_Architects_Studio_Companion_Rules_of_Thumb_for, it was divided into large buildings and small buildings. Do we apply the large building criteria to medium size buildings?

I would default to assuming ‘medium buildings’ would fall under the category of ‘large buildings’, but use your best judgement!
