@MarissaYee While I was in the Virtual Workshop, something came up about the fire areas in the 5 story portion. You had illustrated that those stories needed to be broken into 3 fire areas due to the 72,000 SF limitation and illustrated a couple ways to accomplish that. My understanding is that the 72,000 SF limitation is the allowable area per floor, not per occupancy. Thus, requiring no separation in the R2 occupancy as each floor is less than the 72,000 allowed. Am I missing or misunderstanding something? Thanks in advance. -Josh
