Hi, can someone please help me understand why it isn’t necessary to account for the setbacks when figuring out the maximum area of the building footprint of the addition in Question 11 for the P&A practice quiz? Thank you!

Maximum lot coverage does not account for setbacks. It’s simply based on the total area of the site.
Think of it this way - lot coverage affects how big of a footprint the building can have, whereas setbacks affect where the building can be located on the site.
