In PA Practice form (exam) #1 question 67 case Case study 1 . I was wondering how the dance studio measures 3,500 sq.ft? The scenario mentions 4200 gross sq ft .
I see the program requirements now. But Don’t we take the gross sf?

@kokate 4,200 sf refers to the gross area of the entire building. We are using just the dance studio’s area (3,500 sf) to calculate required parking because this is the primary use of the space.
See excerpt from the ‘Parking Requirements’ reference:
Dance, Assembly, and Exhibition Hall without Fixed Seats. One space for each 50 square feet of floor area used for assembly or dancing
