What should the AHJ Review and why?

  1. Fire safety operations
  2. Design of mechanical systems
  3. distance between the two hotels?

Fire and Life Safety for sure because its standard to check for means of egress, occupancy and so on.

Mechanical systems should be reviewed for compliance with Title 24. Typically it is done by the engineering dept.

Distance between hotels: If we are talking of two different projects, then the answer is no, the AHJ should have no say on this matter.
