Rigid Frames

My understanding is Rigid Frames are good for lateral force because they are “rigid” so I am very confused by the answer to the high-rise question that rigid frames would not be a correct answer.
I also researched more about rigid frames and found this:
What are the Types of Frame Structures? - The Constructor
Would appreciate further explanation please.
Thank you

Hi @ylouka can you message me the question you’re referring to please? Rigid frames are appropriate for tall buildings, however they’re quite costly, which is why most high-rises that you see use some other type of lateral support system.

Good afternoon,
I just sent to you a screen shot.
Please advise.
Thank you
