Sun Wind & Light Book

Looking for advice on how to read through the Sun Wind and Light book. You mentioned some notes on how to tackle it during the virtual workshop and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. @coachcandaceseda

@cgutierr I’ve been working through Sun, Wind, and Light, and I’ve found that the best way to approach it is not by reading it straight through. It’s a shorter book so if you want to, you def can ,but it’s really more of a reference guide or toolkit. I try to focus on the sections that relate to whatever project or topic I’m currently working on in in the Black Spectacles Programming and Analysis videos to reinforce the information whether its a psychometric chart, sun diagram, or the daylighting diagrams. I usually start by looking at the diagrams first, since they’re incredibly informative on their own. The visuals help me grasp the core ideas quickly, and I often ask myself, “What is this drawing telling me about the sun’s impact or occupant comfort?”. My edition of the book is older but def still does the job :tada:!
