Join us for our next ARE Live broadcast on Thursday, August 12 at noon CT, where we’ll review an exercise from one of our Virtual Workshops with Instructor Jori Colarusso.
We’ll run through a Construction & Evaluation Exercise and discuss issues related to the bidding process, including project delivery methods, contractor selection, and more. This is a great opportunity to see how hands-on and in-depth our Virtual Workshops are, so don’t miss it. Work through the practice questions in advance so you can review your answers with us in real-time!
Comment below with any of your CE questions and get them answered during the ARE Live broadcast.
Welcome to the ARE Community! Be sure to leave a comment today for the chance to win a free Black Spectacles t-shirt. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions about today’s exercise below!
Another tip - DBB and DNB are super similar to each other, and are both options here. Since the question doesn’t give any info that would make one of them incorrect (like saying, it’s a public project) I’d be inclined to choose both of those answers.
Note that this question is about ‘what the architect should include in an RFP to select a CMc’.
Our last question was asking how the architect can assist the owner in selecting a CMc - and one of the answer choices was ‘create an RFP’.
Sometimes you can find the answers to questions in the text of other questions! Always be on the lookout for additional information on the ARE (and especially in the case study resources).
