There are a few questions being asked in this question. Any help is appreciated.
Fleet Maintenance Bldg - for the maintenance and storage of municipal fleet vehicles like fire truck, school buses, and police vehicles.
60,000 SF with 3 different occupancy types, S-1, B and S-2
When interpreting the need for plumbing fixtures, for the storage occupancies would you use an occupant load factor of 500/for air craft hangers and warehouses? If not, what occupant load factor would be appropiate?
Then, when calculating the plumbing fixtures necessary, I understand, each building be calculated separately.
When it comes to the amount of service sinks,in particular. Are all three service sinks required? Do the service sinks need to be located on in each building area type? Or are there IBC proof that one service sink? Or could all the plumbing requirements be placed in the B occupancy?
The owner wants to have a breezeway that connects each one of the areas, but is unaware of the requirements for separation of occupancies. What would be the best way to incorporate the owners request?
