I believe there is a mistake in this answer, please clarify

Based on the description, the equation does not work, since it adds the centerline distance to the width of the seat, rather than subtracting it from the width of the pool. Shouldn’t it be 5’ + (24’ - 16") + 11.27" + 36"? Which would give 31.6’, rounded up to 32’?

@lewismattwood The ADA pool lift is located outside of the pool (not overlapping it), so the centerline distance would be added beyond the pool edge (not subtracted). I double-checked the formula and calculations and everything is accurate as written. Note that the 34’-3.27" is rounded up to 35’ to ensure accessibility compliance.
