Incorporated vs. Corporation

Hi All,

We had a question towards the end of today’s workshop that had to do with Incorporated vs. a Corporation. I had some participants weigh in which was great, but I thought I’d give an additional explanation after some digging! A corporation is actually an incorporated entity, this means that a lot of time you’ll see an architecture firm with Inc. at the end of their name. A “corporation” is the business entity itself and “incorporation” is the act of starting a corporate business entity. I hope this helps! Thanks for a great workshop everyone!
