Does working under a Residential Designer count toward your internship?

I can help with this one! Yes, working under a residential designer does count towards to AXP hours. However, only 320 hours will count. When you record these hours you will indicate they are, “Other Experience Opportunities - Design or Construction Related Employment” rather than “Architectural Experience”. Make sure you use the correct designation for them, or NCARB will reject them and you’ll have to update it. I did this myself prior to licensure and had to call NCARB and have them tell me the appropriate way to log the hours :upside_down_face:.
