The way this chart works is that you find one occupancy on the top of the chart and the other on the left side and find the box where they intersect to determine the fire separation required between the occupancies. This may come up on the test so practice how to find the separation. This would be one where they would give you the chart as a resource. Most likely in a case study style question. You can refer to the chart in the notes from our meeting yesterday for a list of occupancy types.
