Openings between a motor-vehicle related occupancy and a room used for sleeping purposes shall not be permitted

This question form the Practice Exam does not align with what’s in the IBC Section 406.3.4.2
Door openings are allow with it is 20 min rated and has a self closing and self latching.
The exam answer says " No Openings are allowed in walls between private garage and dwelling unit. Please clarify.

I believe the distinction is that while the section of the code you are referencing allows for doors between dwelling units and private garages, the next section prohibits any openings between garages and rooms used for sleeping purposes specifically.
