Hi, I was going through the practice exam form 1 and got confused with the answer for question 19 where you are asked to estimate Gross Building Area from a given Net Area. The Net Area is given as 11470 SF and the Overall Building Efficiency is given as 0.5. So here, the GBA should be 11470/0.5=22940 SF. However, the answer calculates 0.5 of 11470SF, which is 5737 SF, and adds that number to 11470 SF, giving 17205 SF as the correct answer for this problem, which seems incorrect. Am I misunderstanding something here? Thanks for the help!
oh, I found a previous posting addressing this issue and seems like the answer in this practice exam is wrong! Hope Black Spectacles would update this soon!
