Hello, How much should i be scoring before the real exam for programming and analysis? And what steps to follow if the score is around 56%
Hi @RITIKAKAPOOR1311, thanks for your question!
According to this article, you need to score between 65-71% on PA and because our practice exams are formatted exactly like the ARE, you could use this range as a general guide to determine your readiness.
However, try not to focus too much on the actual score, but more on your understanding of each content area/objective. After taking a practice exam, it is important to identify your stronger areas (to maintain consistency on those) and weaker areas (to revisit those in the videos and source materials). The practice exam results provide you with a great breakdown of your performance in each objective so that you can easily target those specific areas in your studying. Thoroughly review the answer explanations for both correct and incorrect answers, as there is often valuable information hidden there.
We do aim to make our practice questions match (or exceed) the difficulty of the ARE, so that you can truly test your knowledge of the content. Therefore, do not be discouraged if you are scoring below the target range for PA. As long as you feel confident in your understanding of the content and how to apply it to the exam format, I think you’ll be in good shape!
Good luck on your upcoming exam!
