Water Quality Volumn

WQv=P x Rv x A/12…How come 10.7% isn’t converted to .107. The olny way I can come up with 14.6% is .05+.009(10.7) = .1463 = 14.6% and not .05 + .009(.107) = .05 = 5%. I’m not understanding the equation justifying not converting 10.7 to .107

I was having a similar issue with this question. There is a % after the 14.6 so the equation should work out as .146 but is doesn’t.

Hi @vmoreno and @jsuda Thanks for writing in! The equation says to enter this number as a percentage, so I would enter the whole number (10.7) and not convert the percentage to a decimal.
Like NCARB has, we’ve revised this question from a fill-in-the-blank to a multiple choice question, so if you go down this incorrect path now you’ll realize and will have an opportunity to adjust your answer.
Good luck on your next exams!
