Exit access travel distance question

from ibc 2018, chapter 10. table 1017.2

A occupancy: 200ft without sprinkler.

question: could you have a 200ft long travel distance that exits into another 200ft long travel path if the two are separated by an appropriately rated wall assembly? am i describing horizontal exiting?

thanks

It does sound like you’re describing horizontal exiting! Each space needs to comply with maximum travel distances - so it’s not necessarily true that you can stack two 200’ long travel distances using horizontal exiting. If Space A horizontally exits into Space B at the furthest point in space B from an exit, then you could.

Thank you Chris!
