The direct view access

Hi ARE community,

I am wondering the definition of the view access after reading The Image of City by Kevin Lynch. How to define one building has direct view to the other? For example, in the grid system do all the buildings around landmark can be treated as having direct view access to the center parcel?

Yes, I think you’ve described direct view perfectly!

I had to read Kevin Lynch at least 4 times in college and I really wish I had retained more of it. His writings are a great resource!
