Excellent question. Type C is pretty similar to type X, but type C has more glass fiber reinforcement. Type C appears to be more fire resistant, too.

Agreed. Would highly suggest practicing with this digital whiteboard once we get it up and running in our practice exams. Definitely don’t want to use it for the first time in the actual exam!

for rated walls, will we need to identify differences between 2hr, 3hr, etc.?

Yes and no. I think it’s reasonable to think you should be able to identify a 1 hr wall vs a 3 hr wall (or vs a non-rated wall), but I think the questions should give you clear information to understand the ratings of walls.
