Hi, I am reviewing the answers for the case study in PjM Quiz #2, and this question confuses me:
“What items are attached to or noted on the certificate of substantial completion?”
Why is “Warrenties” not the correct answer here? the explanation is “Incorrect. Warranties are provided as a separate closeout document by the Contractor.”
However, “Warrenties” is literally a main section in AIA G704-2017 Certificate of Substantial Completion, so I don’t understand why it’s not the right answer here

Note that the question asks which items are attached to or noted on the certificate of substantial completion. Warranties are mentioned on the certificate, however, the actual warranties are not attached to or noted on it. I know this is confusing, but this resembles a similar type of tricky-worded question you may see on the ARE!
When approaching practice questions, pay close attention to key words in the question, as they will be the indicator of correct or incorrect answers. Also, be sure that you are selecting the most correct answer(s). Sometimes other answers may appear correct, but the other answer(s) are more correct in the specific scenario presented. I know it’s frustrating, but practicing these strategies will help you conquer them on the real thing!
