@kiaragalicinao In the practice exam day A project is being executed under AIA A201. The architect’s team must have a clear understanding of what is included in the contract documents as part of the contract between the owner and contractor.
Which of the following are included in the contract documents? Check the four that apply.
This one was tricky because in the video i found with contract documents, construction docs and project manual from the videos in PjM- they show ALL contracts in the video(A-101 201 B-101) all as part of the Contract documents. The addenda is also included. Specs and supplementary conditions. SO there are 5 CORRECT here and not 4!
Why would I have not chosen the B-101? ( is it because we are asking specifically with the CONTRACTOR and the owner? why would the video have the B-101- as contract documents are mostly for the contractor.
@sevanb This question is specifically asking about the Owner–Contractor contract documents. The key distinction is that the B101 (Owner–Architect Agreement) is a separate contract between the owner and architect, not part of the contract documents that govern the contractor’s work.
Under A201 §1.1.1, the contract documents generally include the Owner–Contractor Agreement (A101), General Conditions (A201), Supplementary Conditions, Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, and Modifications issued after execution. B101 is related to the project overall, which is why you may have seen it shown in broader diagrams about project contracts, but it is not included in the contractor’s contract documents unless specifically incorporated.
Also as another friendly reminder, please provide the 5-7 digit item ID number when asking about specific practice questions so that we can easily look up the question on our backend.
