If I’m understanding the definition of an Exit Discharge correctly, shouldn’t both the area highlighted in green, as well as the area shown marked with the crosshairs be considered an Exit Discharge in this scenario?
Welcome to the Black Spectacles Community @ajbosse0! Thank you for your question - you are absolutely correct in that the door from the stair is actually the correct exit discharge location. The staircase is the exit, while the door from the staircase is the exit discharge. Sorry for the confusion and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention!
